As a result of this effort, Aloe is happy to announce a unique publishing project, The Holly Bible.

For the first time for about half a century in Greece, a private company decides to publish a copy of The Holly Bible. With our distinguished unique philosophy and traditional craftsmanship we manage to create a real piece of art.

A 17th century monastery edition, printed in Venice, was used as the original for the type setting. A thousand copies have been printed and bound by hand with a traditional leather bookbinding by Vassilios Kypraios.

Goat leather is used, treated with the "acorn" technique in Amfissa, by the last remaining traditional tannage in Greece.

The covers are decorated by handcrafted bas-relief, chiselled, wrought with silver 925 and 24 carats golt-plated skin.

The Holy Bible is packaged in handcrafted leather case from the same leather, with an embossed-relief and gold-printed depiction of the Crusified Christ. It is delivered with a serial number and a veridicality certificate by "Aloe" publications.
